Animal Behaviour Laboratory

The Animal Behaviour Laboratory is part of the Department of Evolutionary Ecology of the Institute for Ecology, UNAM.

Our group's interests relate to sexual selection, speciation, conflict between sexes and extinction. Specific projects are related to conservation of the freshwater fish Family Goodeidae, the evolution of ornaments in fish and birds, and the origin of biodiversity.
